I have to admit that Earl Torito has a special place in my restaurant memory, since I first ate "real" Mexican food when I moved from Pennsylvania to Los Angeles in the 1970s. We now live in Nokal and have nothing to do with El Torrito, so often stop at one place while Sukal is in. We sat by the window and could see the view of Monterey Bay. I had a Cane corn pancake next to me. My wife and corn pancakes were special. Both were delicious, as were chips, salsa sauce and margarita at home. The service was good.
